Faust Sheet Metal was established in 1936 by Harry Faust Sr. after moving from Clifton Heights, PA and working in Philadelphia shipyards, where he acquired his metal working skills. He saw an opportunity to move to the Lewes area and start his own business in hopes of finding metal work with the construction of Fort Miles and Otis Smith's fish factory in full swing.

The original "Shop", as we affectionately call it, was located at the corner of Third and Market Street in downtown Lewes. As the business grew, so did our locations, but always remaining in Lewes. We've been at our present location since 1985.

Three generations later, Faust Sheet Metal prides itself on small town service with larger capabilities. Although the times and equipment have changed, our mindset has not. Some of the equipment we have was my grandfathers and is still in use today.
